Our Roads Here

Dani Rhoades is a Certified Nutritional Consultant and founder of Wholesome Practices.

After going through my own journey of chronic illness and finding that nutrition was the only way of dealing with the underlying root, I became extremely passionate about helping others. I graduated from Bauman College with honors and received my certificate as a Nutrition Consultant in 2012. When I opened my private practice in 2013, Wholesome Practices, I knew I wanted my focus to be on preventative care with children. I began studying under everyone I could: the Weston A Price foundation, GAP's Protocol by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride, Body Ecology, OAT's Workshops by Great Plains, the NANP, both Functional and Integrative Medicine, as well as Naturapathic Medicine, amongst so many other philosophies of holistic health. While running my own practice I had the incredible privilege of working at an integrative pediatrics office for 5 years. I saw first hand the tremendous health issues our children are facing and just how their resilient bodies can respond to sound nutrition. That's how I ended up here; creating Packages for mom + baby in their perinatal years, because the care needs to start from the very beginning. I saw just how much proper nutrition and supplementation could help pregnant women experience what it was like to have a happy healthy little and I want to share it with you.

When I am not working I enjoy hiking or walking the beautiful beaches of Carp, always with my beagle Riley. I love Jesus, spending time with my family and friends, drinking tea and eating good food. I nearly exclusively wear GAP clothing, a thing my girlfriends always get a laugh out of ;) While I love traveling, I never tire of a cozy afternoon reading a good book, listening to worship music and relaxing at home.

Whitney Eves is a Wife, Mom, Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Therapy Consultant with a bachelor degree of Science in Kinesiology.

As a young child and into my mid 20's I suffered with undiagnosed digestion issues along with chronic ear and sinus infections. My journey to health took time but eventually I was able to achieve vibrant and sustaining health through radical diet and lifestyle change. Best of all, my passion to help people heal and nourish their bodies through real food was born. Flash forward 10 years + two babies later and here I am. Having children changed everything for me, all I wanted was to have a happy healthy little. After giving birth to my first daughter in 2016 I knew my calling shifted from helping people lose weight or get fit to dedicating all my energy into everything mom and baby. I went back to school for nutrition so I'd have the education to help moms thrive in pregnancy and give every baby the start they deserve. Bringing you the most up to date information and working along side Dani has been a dream come true. I’m so excited to help you and your baby achieve life lasting health and I'm here to share from my personal experience as a Mom of two that living a healthy life does not need to be complicated, it's actually quite simple, and we will walk along side you each step of the way.

I love my job and am so thankful to get to spend a few days working on something I'm so passionate about! When I'm not working, I love spending time with my kids + husband and our favorite family days are always in nature. I love hiking, SUP, pilates, traveling, farmers markets, non-toxic skin care and cooking for friends + family! I'm trying to live by the quote; "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose"- Jim Elliot.
